This has become one of my favorite places to stay! I love it here. Love that it’s walking distance to one of my favorite donut shops and not too far of a walk from the BART station.

This place is meant to be shared but I had the entire place to myself. It was quiet and peaceful. Very clean and welcoming!

Kathryn was a great host. She was super responsive, and accommodated my early check in. Self checkin/check out was a breeze. I basically had the whole place to myself, as there was only one other room occupied. There are two rooms washrooms so there were no issues with sharing the space. I didn’t make use of the living room or kitchen, as I used the space mostly to sleep, but the entire place was clean, cozy, well decorated, and matches the photos. I chose the location as it was close to a friend I was visiting, but there are loads in restos within walking distance. It’s a cute neighbourhood and I’d recommend this spot if you’re in Oakland. As a woman of colour on her own, I felt safe in the neighbourhood, including walking home from close by at night.

I had a great stay!This was my first time at this property, though my second time at one of Kathryn's properties. The place was recently renovated, tastefully furnished, clean, and well stocked with all the items one could need. I made the booking day of, and Kathryn was super responsive (then and throughout my stay) and made the check in process hassle-free. The house is just a short walk to BART and shops on Piedmont Ave. and Temescal, which is very convenient. I shared the space with a couple of other guests during part of my stay and had access to 2 bathrooms so there was never an issue. The house also comes with a washer and dryer, heat, and a nice backyard for enjoying a break when the sun is out. Would recommend!
