Overall, we enjoyed our stay in the penthouse apartment. We had an issue with 1 of the TV boxes, but it was quickly dealt with by Ruth. The only things we think could help our stay are more storage and more comfortable beds.
Die Unterkunft war sauber und es waren alle nötigen Utensilien vorhanden um eine schöne Zeit zu verbringen. Die Aussicht war super. Das zweite Badezimmer war aber sehr klein, man hatte nur sehr wenig Platz.
La vacanza ci è piaciuta molto, la posizione dell'appartamento è molto buona in quanto si trova a nord di Malta, dove si possono raggiungere le spiagge migliori e le isole di Gozo e Comino in poco tempo. La cosa che abbiamo preferito è stata la terrazza con vista mozzafiato e Jacuzzi, che abbiamo utilizzato quasi tutte le sere. Gli unici difetti sono stati: i materassi, a parer nostro, un po' scomodi e i bagni piccoli (noi però eravamo in quattro adulti). Comunque la casa è ben tenuta e pulita e i proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili.
So… the place is newly refurbished/reconstructed and they decided to squeeze in an extra (tiny) bathroom (so it has two) with glass walls. And eventhough the second bathroom is really small I think it’s great to have two. The kitchen is ok, the beds aren’t extremely comfortable and the aircon is good and can cool down the rooms very quickly. The town is small and there is a swimming spot with a ladder into the ocean 4 mins walk in front. However all of that is actually less important… the reason I would highly recommend this place is for the amazing roof terrasse! It is gigantic, the jacuzzi is nice (even for cooling down) and the views of the ocean and buildings in the distance are incredible. Drinking cold wine, ordering tasty food from the Wolt app and eating on the terrasse turned out to be better than any restaurant we found on Malta (although Pauls bistro in Valetta is good). Sunsets and sunrises are absolutely amazing!! Very friendly and professional host.
'Islet Promenade Penthouse with jacuzzi on a large terrace' is a brand new apartment inside a brand new building that consists of 23 Self Catering lovely holiday apartments. It is located in a quiet area in Bugibba right on the promenade and close to the Bugibba Centre, part of St Paul's Bay. Close by there are several grocery shops, pharmacies, bus stops, restaurants, bars, etc. They are are all within a few meters walking distance.
Close by there is also the Malta National Aquarium, many nice Lidos, Beach Clubs, Bugibba Jetty (where you can take day cruises to the Blue Lagoon and Comino), takeaways, Al fresco restaurants, etc. For the kids, there is a playing area by the Aquarium and also an aquatic play area (open in Summer only).
Bugibba is a touristic destination, has many nice rocky beaches and also a perched sandy beach and it is close to all the major Sandy beaches.
St Paul's Bay is on the main bus routes that connect the North to the South.
