The cottage was clean, quiet, and around a two-minute walk from the beach. Beautiful neighborhood, totally laid back location, modern new-build design, and great host who communicated quickly. The internet was faster than 300Mbps up and down over 5GHz Wi-Fi. No ethernet connection but the Wi-Fi was more than enough for even my edge-case requirements. As for the area, Waveland is a small, laidback Southern beach town. There's not much to do, but that's kind of the point. For more amenities, Bay St. Louis' restaurants are 10 minutes east on Beach Blvd, Gulfport (nice aquarium) is around 30 minutes east, Biloxi is around 45 minutes east, and Slidell, LA is around 30 minutes west, so there are plenty of options within a quick drive. Overall, I loved my stay here because of the modern build, plentiful natural lighting in the daytime, and proximity to the beach. 5/5 would satay again.
