We came here to have a rest in a secluded place with a beautiful sea view. Everything has been provided. Antonio was very helpful, led us from Mattinata to the Casa Montelci, explained how to use the house and also gave his recommendations on boat tours and nearest beaches. The house is located on the hill with the solid rock on back. Privacy guaranteed. Also it's equipped with everything you need for longer stay. Additional outdoor gas stove for cooking outside is great. Huge recommendation.

Nach dem freundlichen Check-In im Hotel Melograno (Freizeittipps, Umgebungskarte etc. inkl.) wurden wir persönlich zur Unterkunft eskortiert und umfangreich eingewiesen. Die Unterkunft liegt in traumhafter Umgebung, etwas abgelegen mitten in den Bergen mit Blick auf das Meer und bei Nacht und passendem Wetter auf den Süden Apuliens. Wer es ruhig und privat mag kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten. Der nächste Strand ist in wenigen Minuten per Auto erreichbar, wir waren bspw. in unter 10 Minuten in Matinatella am Strand. Antonio hat keine Mühen gescheut, dass wir uns in seiner Unterkunft sehr wohl fühlen. Hat uns sogar noch weitere Grillkohle vorbei gebracht. Die ganze Zeit über hat uns ein freundlicher Hund und mindestens drei Katzen Gesellschaft geleistet.

We were very satisfied with the accommodation. It was a really quiet location with a great view of the sea. At the reception we were recommended places to visit + activities that were possible to experience. If there was anything that needed to be solved in the course of accommodation, the owner was always helpful. I definitely recommend this accommodation. The view from the house is unforgettable.

We spent a combined vacation / home office week in this terrific place our small child. The house was great and the surroundings more than beautiful, totally loved it and want to return!

Ci siamo trovati bene, sottolineo però che è un posto piuttosto isolato, ciò comporta il dover obbligatoriamente usare l'auto per andare in qualsiasi posto (o in bici,se siete allenati in salita!), in compenso garantisce una privacy assoluta. A farci compagnia abbiamo trovato una cagnetta (un setter) che sembra non avere padrone né fissa dimora: oltre ad essere un cane dolcissimo, estremamente educato e buonissimo anche con i nostri gatti, si è dimostrata essere una piacevolissima compagna di passeggiate, e di notte fa pure la guardia. Insomma, un ospite inaspettato ma simpatico e graditissimo. Nei dintorni si può passeggiare lungo alcuni sentieri, un po' impervi (d'altronde il Gargano non è una terra facilissima) ma che offrono bellissimi scorci sul mare, oltre ad erbe officinali fantastiche: troverete distese di rosmarino, elicriso, timo arbustivo, capperi e probabilmente anche origano e fichi. Sottolineo che nell'annuncio scrivono che manca il phon, in realtà ce ne sono ben due.
