Do you like calmness, relaxation, nature, animals and fresh air? If yes, then Casa Stinco in Mattinata is the perfect place for you! The cottage is situated on the edge of the Gargano National Park in Mattinata (Apulia). It has 2 bedrooms: one with 1 double bed 140 x 200 cm and the other with 2 single beds 80 x 200 cm. Small living room (with TV and board games), bathroom with shower and washing machine. The large kitchen-dining room is equipped with everything you need. Gas cooker, kettle, fridge, dishes, cutlery, cups, glasses, pots. The granite floor laid throughout the house provides a pleasant coolness on hot days. There is no air conditioning, however, as the house is completely surrounded by trees (deciduous trees, pine trees, macchia) the temperature inside is pleasant. There is a guarded parking lot right in front of the front door.

Séjour chez Sylvia excellent. L endroit est tout à fait conforme aux photos voir même plus. La maison est très propre, les lits confortables. Sylvia nous a accueilli chaleureusement, une bouteille de vin, des tomates, ails et oignons. La vue est magnifique tout comme le jardin. Je reviendrais avec grand plaisir !!!
Ci siamo concessi una settimana di vacanza-lavoro da Silvia e ci siamo trovati bene. Sia io che il mio compagno lavoriamo da remoto e volevamo concederci una settimana nel verde e nella tranquillità. L’alloggio di Sylvia ci ha sorpresi sotto molti aspetti. La casa è stupenda e il giardino molto godibile sia per gli umani che per i pelosi (siamo andati con un cane). Comodo anche per chi vuole raggiungere le spiagge che sono a una manciata di minuti in macchina. Un’esperienza che ripeterei ogni mese potendo.
All good things to say. Very warm and hospitable. Always felt hosts were available if there was a problem. Location beautiful and a bit remote, but in a good way. Everything we needed. Silvia and her husband are very, very nice people who know how to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend.
Een huis op een berg uitkijkend over de vallei en de zee. Prachtige locatie, in de buurt van dorpje Mattinata. Sylvia is super aardig!

In spring, the city becomes an attraction for many motorcyclists and cyclists, but most of all for hikers and orchid lovers! Only in Mattinata we have over 80 different varieties of orchids!
In our city you will find supermarkets, pharmacies, bakeries, fish shop, butchers and a large market with regional fruits, vegetables, oils and cheeses! In Mattinata you will also find delicious ice cream parlors, various restaurants, pizzerias and bars where you can end your day in a great way. During the summer months, the main street of Mattinata is closed to car traffic in the evenings and transformed into a pedestrian zone.
The two-kilometer long pebble beach is much appreciated by both locals and tourists! The water is crystal clear and provides pleasant cooling on hot days. There are bars and restaurants on the beach. There are also parking spaces nearby (for a fee). The many charming caves along the coast are just asking for a visit! On the many hiking trails you will discover not only numerous orchids, but also the beautiful landscape of Mattinata and the surrounding area. Our private house is next to the holiday home. As a result, you will always have a contact person nearby. A dog, a cat or even a mouse are also welcome! We ourselves own dogs, cats, horses and chickens. There are goats, cows and donkeys in the vicinity.
Mattinata can be reached by car in approximately 10 minutes. Nearby cities such as Monte Sant'Angelo, Vieste, Manfredonia are easily accessible by car or bus.
