Escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and experience the peaceful, New Mexico skies with breathtaking sunsets and sunrises. Our fully equipped farmhouse stay is perfect for families, friends, and couples looking for a peaceful getaway or a place to stretch your legs on a long road trip. With comfortable accommodations, stunning views, Chick Inn Moriarty is your home away from home. We offer a beautiful queen-sized bed in the larger bedroom and a twin-sized bed in the smaller bedroom, soft sheets, towels and a coffee/tea bar. The home also has a 50" TV and a 32” TV connected to our WiFi for you to log into whatever streaming services you'd like. We provide shampoo & conditioner and body wash just in case you run out of your essentials on your trip. The kitchen is well equipped with a four-burner stove, toaster oven and a microwave. The coffee and tea station are stacked, and you'll be well supplied with kitchen essentials like silverware, oil, salt and pepper. Trash can for pet waste and pet waste bags are located in the enclosed back entryway with a large dog door.

I was travelling with a loaded vehicle of property. I didn't want to stay at a hotel where my vehicle could be checked out and possibly stolen. When I arrived at the Chick Inn I felt very safe and welcomed. There was not much in the local town but I went to the local grocery store, Moriarty Foods, and got a cooked chicken, some salad, and a bottle of wine. I did not have any paper towels but a wash cloth worked just fine. I was very happy with my stay and would stay again if travelling through Moriarity.

And a wonderful time staying. I was able to check in really late, about 1140pm and that was completely okay. The house was lovely and felt comfortable. While I rarely like to stay at places a second time because I want new experiences, I would definitely recommend staying the night here. Thanks again!

Chick Inn Moriarty is a passion project. It is not perfect. Probably never will be. But it may be perfect for you! We acquired the home that was built in 1969 this year and we have renovated the entire home, 1969 meets 2023. The previous owners took immaculate care of this farmhouse so all we had to do was paint, paint, and update. It would be our pleasure to host you, and to have your pawsitive furry friends join you. You will hear our rooster, neighbors roosters, and see livestock for miles. Horses and cattle everywhere.

Moriarty has a few restaurants and a neighborhood grocery store.
The nearby towns of Edgewood and Albuquerque, (30 mins or less) are packed with artisans, markets, groceries, gas and events. It's easy to stock up nearby for anything you really need. If you need me to pick up anything before you arrive at the Smith’s grocery store in Edgewood (9 miles away) please send me a message so we can arrange for that.
For the outdoors enthusiast, it's all here. Within 30 minutes you can ski, hike, bike, and visit the largest Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque.
