Secluded ocean side tropical paradise with salt water pool overlooking the marina. One acre property with tranquility garden, waterfall, and a variety of fruit trees. Less than 10 minutes to the bustling hub of Coronado with restaurants, shopping, and ex-pat community. Ideally situated for day trips such as Panama City, The Canal, Surfing, Golf, Hiking, and El Valle. Comfortable 3 bedroom home with two terraces, 4 bohios and a proper tropical vibe. Come and unwind. Everyone comes back! The house design focusses on outdoor living. The interior is 3 bedrooms with a large primary suite including ensuite bathroom. All rooms in the house have outdoor access to a wrap around terrace. The back patio sits on the tranquility garden with a waterfall. Perfect for sitting watching the hummingbirds and picking limes for your mojito. The front deck has a BBQ, an eating table and reclining chairs if a hammock is not your thing. The kitchen is fully equipped. Full laundry, hot water and each room has an air conditioner. The living room is small, with a couch, chair and 48" TV. Wifi works well across the property. Covered parking to keep your wheels in the shade. To the rear of the property is a salt water pool looking over the ocean and Vista Mar marina. Beside the pool is a bathroom, and covered terrace with BBQ, fridge, lounge seating and an eating table and chairs. There is bocce, ladder toss, and horseshoes for in between swims. A stair provides direct beach access. Its a 15 mt elevation so the stair is a strenuous climb. The beach has a beautiful sandy strip but is quite rocky for swimming unless you walk 5 minutes. There is a surf break right off the beach but not for beginners. Beginners surf 10 minutes away in El Palmar.

Staying here was a dream. When I arrived, I found myself immersed in an atmosphere of serenity. By the ocean, the location couldn't have been more perfect for a relaxing getaway. Filled with trees and plants, the garden was amazing. When I needed to cool off from the hot Panamanian sun, the pool provided the perfect oasis for a refreshing swim. The home was great with spacious rooms, tasteful decor, and all the amenities one could ask for. Whether lounging or cooking in the well-appointed kitchen, I felt right at home. The experience was elevated by the warm hospitality of the hosts. Throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was amazing. Whether offering advice on local restaurants or arranging excursions, they were great. Perhaps the best part of my stay was being able to step outside and watch the sunrise over the ocean every morning while working out on the deserted beach. It was a truly magical experience that I will never forget.
Our second visit was a joy, just like the first.
We found paradise, and it wasn't hard to do. It is exactly as described, but better. Andrew and Sydney are laid back, and make you immediately feel comfortable abd relaxed. The cutest and well equipped spacious bungalow has everything you could need, and there are front and back patios with comfortable seating. We didn't want to leave.
What a fantastic place! Very private and the view is amazing. We spent most of our time in the pool looking out over the ocean. Didn't go down to the beach as it is MANY steep steps, and looked very rocky. But who needs the beach with that pool. Very friendly hosts who live on site in a coach bus with 2 sweet dogs. We will be looking to coming back next year for a much longer stay.

Costa Esmeralda is on a quiet point, 10 minutes from Coronado, 90 minutes from Panama City. The property overlooks the marina of Vista Mar. Vista Mar also offers restaurants, and a golf course.
The Rio Hato airport, with charters from Toronto and Montreal is 25 minutes away.
Coronado is the original summer home location for Panamanians. It has grown into a large ex-pat community offering all the amenities. 5 supermarkets, restaurants, bars, medical care, dentists, even a weekly market.
A car is required. We have plenty of parking including 2 covered spots. There is a front gate to the property, so everything is good and secure.
