The Harrison Inn is located on Cannon Beach's main street, situated in the heart of mid-town and offers convenient access to local shops, restaurants, and attractions.
The neighborhood surrounding the Inn is charming and walkable, with a mix of residential and commercial properties. The streets are lined with trees and there are several parks and green spaces nearby. It's a short stroll to reach the beach, one block away, where you can enjoy the sand and surf and find Haystack Rock. Make sure to catch low tide during your visit to explore the tide pools near the famous monolith.
Hemlock Street itself is home to a variety of businesses, including art galleries, boutique shops, and restaurants. There are also a few markets and convenience stores in the area for those who need to stock up on supplies.
Ecola State Park is also a 10 minute drive away and offers hiking trails and stunning views of the coastline.

Driving:
The Harrison Inn is roughly an hour and 45-minute drive from the Portland International Airport.
Each unit has one parking spot appointed in our onsite parking lot. As the four spots are close together, we recommend finding street parking where allowed for oversized vehicles or additional vehicles.
Public transport:
The POINT Bus visits the Oregon Coast twice a day and travels between downtown Portland, Cannon Beach, and Astoria. The bus stop is located one block to the south, and details can be found on Oregon-point website.
The NW Connector is a public transit service that offers visitor passes and provides connections from the valley to the coast. Information can be found on the nworegontransit website.
Walking and hiking:
Cannon Beach is a walkable town. Midtown shops and restaurants can be found right outside your door, with downtown stores a half mile to the north.
Hiking trails can be found throughout the area, and we recommend researching online to find something suitable to each ability. A few of our favorites include the Lewis and Clark Discovery Trail that travels between Seaside and Indian Beach and exploring Oswald State Park and Short Sand Beach.
