The exclusive community of Los Delfines is tucked in alongside Whale Bay, just outside the town of Playa Tambor on the southern tip of the Nicoya Peninsula. Those that already live here, know what a hidden gem this area of Costa Rica is… laid-back living, warm ocean waters and a rustic charm.

Visit the appropriately nicknamed ‘hippy town’ of Montezuma for an afternoon of yoga, followed by fresh, organic juice and a luscious sandwich or salad. Or pack a picnic and take a relaxed hike into a secluded waterfall.
In the other direction, you’ll find Mal Pais and Santa Teresa… with incredible surf, endless restaurant options – from typical Costa Rican fare and wood-fired pizza by the beach, to some of the best sushi you’ll ever eat – this bustling community has something for everyone.
And, for all the ‘mundane’ tasks required to live comfortably, Cobano is only a short drive away; grocery stores, hardware stores, banks, medical centers and auto mechanics are all within quick and easy reach… only a 15-minute drive from your Villa.
This region of Costa Rica, the Nicoya Peninsula, is uninterrupted by large resorts or chain restaurants. Although it offers all the comforts, activities and excitement you would expect to find in your neighborhood, it flies under the radar as a ‘popular’ tourist area.

For getting around the neighborhood you need a car, or you can get a taxi, or you can walk to the front gate and catch a bus. But if you wish to relax you can enjoy all the out door excursions and activities from the villa as the tour operators will pick you up and drive you where you need to go or you need to head out to the beach and get on the boat!. The convenience store is walking distance. For stay at homers, just relax and enjoy the beach, its 50 feet away!!!
