Our facility is located in beautiful nature surrounded by forests and mountains about 10-15 minutes drive from La Colmena, 7 km on a good dirt road for all vehicles. It’s a quiet spot to relax, enjoy nature, swimming and other sports. The facility is especially suited for families with kids. We have a total of 4 guest houses and our own house.
La Colmena was founded by Japanese in 1936 and is well known for vegetable and fruit farming and honey.

⁃ La Colmena Mini Feria, a small market with Japanese delicacies, among other things, every Saturday from around 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., 🚗 10-15 minutes
⁃ Directly from our resort you can hike to a pretty waterfall, surrounded by jungle giants, easy difficulty (also suitable for children, 🥾 1-2 hours
⁃ University town of Villarrica, 🚗45 minutes
⁃ German Colony Independencia, 🚗1.15 hours, with beautiful mountain scenery, hiking opportunities and regular events
⁃ Salto Cristal, waterfall in lush nature known throughout Paraguay, in summer with the opportunity to swim under the waterfall, 🚗 40 minutes
⁃ Ybycui National Park with its many large waterfalls, 🚗 1.10 hours
⁃ Railway museum at Ruta 1 with old steam locomotives, 🚗 1 hour
⁃ Akahai Volcano, hike to the crater rim, 🚗 1 hour
