The apartment is spacious with a unique industrial style fit out which features exposed brick, 3.4m high concrete ceilings and exposed pipework. The home includes engineered timber floorboards throughout which adds to the industrial feel. Double sliding doors opens up to a covered balcony with views that look towards the Brindabella's. Originally built in the mid 1960's and used as Government Offices, in 2020, they underwent a rebirth into these stunning warehouse style residential apartments. The Bedroom: The bedroom has a luxurious king-sized bed topped with luscious, professionally cleaned linen. The room also contains a desk, with ample space to work from if required. The 40 Inch TV in the room can be plugged into with an HDMI cord to use as a monitor for work. The Bathroom: We provide towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper. We will try to leave an ample amount in the apartment, although those with longer stays may need to re-stock depending on usage frequency. The Kitchen: Stocked with a small number of essentials (Salt, Pepper, Oil, Sugar, Tea, Coffee), and a range of appliances including: - Fridge - Stovetop & Oven - Microwave - Dishwasher - Coffee Pod Machine - Toaster - Rice Cooker - Kettle The Living Room: The wall-mounted 65 Inch Smart TV and soundbar is sure to be a hit with the family, you can use this at your leisure to log into your Netflix/Stan/Binge accounts. We don’t provide these accounts so you will have to use your own accounts. If technology isn’t your thing, help yourself to the range of board games we have left just in case! The lounge turns into a sofa bed, which is very easy to unpack and repack where required. Dining Area: The dining area has a table large enough to seat four people if you require some more space within the apartment. The Laundry: A washer and dryer are available to use, as well as an iron and ironing board. We have also provided a vacuum, mop and broom if required. For those wanting to do any of their own washing, we have supplied: - Washing Powder - Washing Liquid - Scent Boosters Common Areas: You will have access to the pool, BBQ area, and common garden or rooftop throughout your stay. Instruction on how to access these will be supplied during your stay. The common areas are managed by building management and can be closed without prior notice to owners. We will endeavour to update the listing with the most accurate information regarding these amenities.
Modern and light. Very clean. Has two flat screen TVs. There is a view of Mount Taylor. Apartment faces SE. Found a handheld Dyson stick in the laundry which was handy. The bath mat is nice and thick. The towels are quite thin. There is a plastic kettle in the kitchen. There fridge is large and clean. Found a small size pod machine in kitchen (doesn’t take original size Nespresso pods it’s some other brand). No decaf pods and the pods were plastic so didn’t appeal to me. BYO milk. Westfield Woden is only 250m away. The bedroom size is generous. Appreciated the King sized bed, although mattress is a bit bouncy. When my partner moved I knew about it. Garbage trucks came 4.52am on Monday to empty the bins. The weekend was quiet. This Air BnB has a good parking spot in the basement. Roomy! There is an air con unit in the family room but not the bedroom. Owners are quick to reply to questions (albeit communication is a touch perfunctory). Dogs allowed so good for those with fur babies.
This place really was phenomenal! Well positioned to access everything around Canberra. The place was warm and quiet! Couldn’t even hear the heavy rain! Kyra and Tyran were always checking to see if our needs were met and responded to any questions quickly. We will certainly stay here again!
Apartment is fabulous. Well appointed, clean, easy to access and very spacious. Will definitely be coming back to stay when in Canberra.
Perfectly located 5 minutes from hospital for my husband to stay in comfort. The apartment was beautiful and all conveniences a short distance. We would not hesitate to book again. Thank you so much, We appreciate it!
