Why is this the Sunrise Suite so special? It's the backdrop of ancient forests and granite peaks of the Porongurup Range together with the incredible vistas to the rugged peaks of the Stirling Ranges that makes this a location like no other! The picture windows of the Sunrise Suite captures it all perfectly. Each sunrise will bring the possibility of a new day in the mountains you will never forget. This is a hikers paradise too! Roam our land and hike into the NP just 100 metres away. The Sunrise Suite is a spacious open living area with wrap around picture windows to fully capture the amazing views. It has a lounge area, dining area, kitchen, entertainment and reading area, large bedroom and walk through robe to the bathroom.

It was simply fabulous! We missed out on the sunrise die too the weather but the visits from the family of wrens and the kangaroo mobs made up for it. Nothing better than the leave of a very early morning sitting outside with a coffee and watching the day unfold. Highly recommended!
beautiful peaceful location with lots of walks and hikes in and around the property with great views. Micheal also had great, well annotated maps with interesting points of interest. it was a very enjoyable weekend getaway for my partner and I.
Had a very lovely stay at the Sunrise suite, hosts were very friendly and offered lots of suggestions on things to do in the area. The view was incredible and the indoor fireplace was great. Kitchen had everything we needed. Will definitely stay again in the future!
As I said to Michael before we left to go home - this place allowed us to 'just be'. The soft furnishings, amazing views and tranquil setting were perfect and Michael ensured we felt welcome to enjoy it all!

The property is in a rural area with vineyards, cattle and sheep being the main land uses. Directly behind us are the forests and mountain peaks of the Porongurup National Park.
Our property is over 40 hectares (160 acres) and adjoins the Porongurup National Park. We do not run livestock so all parts of the property are accessible for guests.
You of course need a car to get here but the great thing is there are so many walks, hikes and climbs on the property and in the National Park next door that you may not need to use the car at all.

Hi! I really enjoy being a host. I love to help guests find authentic, local, off-the-beaten-track experiences so they get the best from their stay in the mountains. My deep knowledge of the Porongurups and this region has come from a life of adventure exploring every part of this slice of heaven and I want to share that knowledge with all of my guests. My favourite feeling is when guests come back from finding a secret place I've told them about and they really feel it was a special experience for them. People arrive here wanting adventure, relaxation, reconnection to nature and family time or private time with their partner. Based on the hundreds of great reviews over the 30 years we have been welcoming guests here, it is fair to say they all get what they looking for here and leave happier. What could be better?
