Welcome to Rosy Summers, our newly restored and unique miner’s shack, the largest in Lettes Bay. Set back from the water and tucked cosily amongst other shacks, Rosy is a surprising interpretation of a traditional miner’s shack. From its pink-painted exterior you enter into an expansive sanctuary. Spend your days admiring glimpses of the bay, sitting by the fire, making a delicious meal or lazing on the large linen sofa. It truly is a generous, sensual space of calm, peace and serenity. Rosy is a real surprise! When you walk through the barn-style front door and into the living area you are struck by its size, the vaulted ceiling and all-white interior. There is a huge, linen-covered, comfy sofa for you to laze on in front of the wood burning fire. Off the living area is a sunroom, which has a built in daybed. This is the perfect space for you to write, read or lay your yoga mat down and stretch. We have a large, fully equipped galley kitchen, available for you to cook up a storm. Enter the spacious bathroom through two rustic wooden doors. Soak in our glorious claw foot bath tub and admire the painted pressed-tin walls. Enjoy the luxuries of the bedroom - a queen-sized bed covered with soft linens. There are double French doors leading onto a small deck area where you can enjoy a glimpse of the water. You are surrounded by nature here at Rosy and we know you are going to love walking around the bay, into town along the waters edge or to Hogarth falls through mixed forest vegetation to the beautiful waterfall. If you’re lucky you may be able to see a local platypus.
