Huge space with gorgeous floors. Views are amazing. It's worth the trip a little out of Strahan township.

The house is a 25 min walk to town along the scenic foreshore path. just above the tourist railway station and its excellent cafe - which also does dinners. The pub is also right nearbye, but had limited options (no vegetarian) and slow service when we visited, so we recommed the cafe as a better option. The view is great, and you can see the house perched up on the point from anywhere in town. The house is comfortable and well equipped. They now have a Nespresso machine as well as coffe and a plunger which was appreciated. The standout feature is the large living and dining area, and good sized main bedroom with small ensuite. The other 2 bedrooms are on the small side (compared to the living area) and the bathrooms are a bit dated, but everything is quite comfortable.

Fantastic accommodation with breathtaking views. A lovely garden attracting wildlife and great bird watching area. Walking paths and trails. Highly recommend. House itself perfect and supplied with top quality linen, accessories, kitchen appliances etc. Would come here again and recommend to anyone. We selfishly booked the whole place for just us 2 - but you could share with another 2 couples and have a great get away. Loved all the wrens, fantails and we received a welcome from the yellow/tailed black cockatoos!
