Our 1800’s farmhouse has been passed down our family tree for many years. Our house is located on a dead end road which makes it great for relaxing before you head out to explore many sights our area has to offer. The house is not located right on the water but is a 5/10 minute walk from a pond. It is a great spot for fishing, hiking and sight seeing. This house is located 15 minutes from winter harbor which is home to the Schoodic portion of Acadia National Park. All bedrooms and master bath are located on the second floor. At our property you will experience the old style farmhouse feel but with many modern renovations.

Nice and quiet stay.
The interior of the house has been recently renovated. We stayed two nights and were impressed by how user-friendly the house was.Ethan also left coffee for our stay and plenty of everything else.The exterior is still being renovated.There was heavy rain while we were there and no walk way has been established yet. Our feet got wet, but that was the only issue.I recommend this property for its cleanliness, furnishings,and Ethan's willingness to take care of any issues.
The Whitaker farmhouse is a very cool property with a lot of potential in an absolutely beautiful area of Maine. It was a good base for our Acadia explorations.

This is a quite neighborhood on a dead end street. Far enough away from and main road and the traffic but close enough to many sights and iconic pieces of Maine.
