Wow, nous avons été époustouflés par la casa nostalgia. Vraiment un highlight de notre voyage. La maison est vraiment magnifique, bien rangée et chaque petit détail est pensé. Carlos est très réactif et très attentionné. Il est évident qu'il souhaite que les gens qui louent l'endroit se sentent bien et surtout, bien entourés de gens locaux. À cet égard, Janio, concierge, a organisé le taxi de l'aéroport etest venu nous souhaiter la bienvenue dès notre arrivée et nous a donné des conseils très utiles. Sympathique, il a été très aidant tout au long de notre séjour. Que dire de Gloria, qui est nous a attendue chaleureusement jusque vers minuit, avec le sourire, le soir de notre arrivée pour nous remettre les clés. Idem pour notre départ à 5h45 du matin. Elle est également une excellente cuisinière. Vous verrez qu'il est impossible de ne pas adorer cette femme merveilleuse! En somme, le Airbnb de Carlos n'est pas seulement un logement, c'est en soi une expérience! Nous recommandons à 1000%

We splurged and paid a bit more to stay at Casita Nostalgia but it was worth every penny! The home itself is beautiful and lovingly appointed. The hosts thought of everything. After traveling around Cuba for 2 weeks with no WIFI, occasional blackouts, and the need to purchase water and TP daily, we especially appreciated the use of the provided phone with cell service for mapping and traveling around the city. We also appreciated the stocked medicine cabinet (Imodium!) and the large filtered water cooler! These sounded like small things before visiting Cuba but we truly came to appreciate them. The neighborhood itself is truly off the tourist track, very walkable and safe. We loved buying bread “from the balcony” and listening to Carlos’ extensive collection of LP records 😊. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Janio and Gloria who kindly showed us around the home and answered all of questions. We have traveled the world and this will live on in our hearts as a favorite!!!

We absolutely loved our stay at this gorgeous Airbnb. It was stunningly beautiful with great style touches throughout. Getting info on Cuba before arrival can be challenging but Carlos answered all of our questions before the trip, which made travel stress free. Janio and Gloria were beyond kind and helpful, assisting us in everything we needed. This apartment is even prettier than in the photos and the location is perfect, easy walking to the Malecon through streets of beautiful old mansions, and truly cool restaurants and authentic interesting places away from the touristy hustle of Old Havana. The WiFi worked perfectly and was so helpful when we returned home each day, to check in and plan for the next days adventures. They even provided us with a Cuban cell phone! We loved napping in the hammock, sitting on the balcony and the gorgeous rooftop deck. We had the best stay at this airbnb and will definitely recommend it to friends and family who are coming to visit.

We LOVED this place!! Record players were a lovely touch and a huge hit with my kids. We found the neighborhood really inviting. Decor was fabulous!! Just a really cool place to stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Carlos' casita. It's beautiful and authentic. The neighbourhood and the neighbours were so friendly, wonderful and welcoming. Gloria (the housekeeper) and Janio (the concierge) are absolute gems. Having Janio available to answer questions, give recommendations and organize taxis and tickets not only made our holiday seamless but also gave us insight into Cuban culture and every day life that we would not have experienced otherwise. Go to Cuba! The people, the art, culture and country are so beautiful. Thank you to Carlos, Janio and Gloria for our "holiday with heart!"
