Recently refurbished historic family farmhouse. Ideal for tranquility in natural surroundings. Within reach of ancient woodland and historic paths. Area of special scientific interest, within the Eryri National Park(Snowdonia). Reach the mountains and sandy seashores. Get away from it all, listen for birdsongs and relax. Ideally suited for walking and exploring an unspoilt area. From challenging walks up the Rhinog range to quiet country lanes, this is an excellent base. You have the whole place to enjoy. Large kitchen/lounge, with a well equipped kitchen. Log stove within the original historical, farmhouse open fireplace. There is a seperate utility room which has a washing machine. Large lounge with TV, opening out onto a garden patio and spectacular views. Ground floor wetroom. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms and a further 2 bathrooms with toilet, washbasin and shower in each. 3 bedrooms with double beds and 1 single room. A path leads from the house to an ancient woodland. Further afield you can visit lakes, rivers and waterfalls.
We had a lovely holiday at this 'away from it all' house. It was ideal for our two families with plenty of space for 6 adults. Sitting in the garden, the only thing you can hear is birdsong and maybe the baa of a sheep. There are beautiful walks from the house and the coast, Harlech and Barmouth are all within easy reach. Thank you very much.
The house is in an absolutely beautiful setting - so peaceful and quiet. The house itself is lovely-the photos really don't do it justice, it's even nicer than it appears from the pictures . It is quite remote but Meinir provided very good directions so it was easy to find. We all said this is one of the best houses we have stayed in, we loved it. It is very comfortable and spacious, and was also extremely clean. The log burner is great and really makes the kitchen/dining/living room so cosy. Lovely walks right from the door with spectacular views and lots more to do in the area, fabulous beaches as well as mountains. I thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely house and we would love to return
My husband, myself, five young people and a dog spent a brilliant week at this beautiful farmhouse. There was loads of space for us all. The beds are all very comfortable, we used the two upstairs showers, which are both powerful and hot. The kitchen area is very well equipped and we did lots of cooking. It's lovely to eat in the kitchen and have a lounge in the same space to all be together. There is another lounge with TV for even more relaxing! We loved the views from nearly all the windows and being able to do long and short walks right from the front door. The hosts had decorated the house for Christmas and left lots of tasty treats for us, which was so lovely. Overall, a tastefully decorated and furnished, large, historic, warm farmhouse in stunning surroundings, with super helpful and responsive hosts. Would 100% recommend this property.
The Airbnb is located in the beautiful welsh countryside, yet still close to local amenities. We stayed for Christmas and the house was spotless and kitchen well-equipped. Highlight of our visit was the wood burner. Recommend you arrive to the Airbnb in the daytime due to its isolated location, it would be difficult to find first time in the dark.
This cottage is set in such beautiful surroundings with footpaths right from the drive. Olwen was so responsive and and thoughtful with her welcome gifts. The space in the cottage was perfect for us, very cosy with the fire and lovely kitchen area....and 3 showers!! Perfect when we alll wanted a shower after a day walking in thr mountajns. Will definitely be back!
