we had an amazing week at this gem. Hope was proactive in communicating recommendations and helping us prepare for our trip. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, from watching the kids swim, lounging on the back porch and eating meals with a tremendous view. Thank you, Hope for sharing your beautiful home with us. can't wait to visit again!

Magen’s Hideaway is a beautiful estate perched atop a hill overlooking the Caribbean with nothing obstructing the view. The rooms were spacious with lots of little details thought of and clean upon arrival. The person who met us at the airport gave us a great tour of the place and tips for local things to do and even checked in with us multiple times by text. The great room and kitchen were just perfect for us - the kitchen was well stocked and we were all able to gather and didn’t feel crowded at all. We did wish the property had cable at least in the great room but mainly because the Olympics were on and we wanted to see them, but we were able to stream them through our iPad connected to the HDMI port on the tv. Will definitely consider coming again!

This property has an amazing layout with three separate units. 10 of us stayed here comfortably, with no problem on space in bedrooms or bathrooms. You basically have your own private resort. The kitchen and common areas are separate from the bedrooms so anyone who wants to stay up late or get up early doesn't have to worry about waking others. The large kitchen was well stocked and had a great gas range. The wifi worked well throughout the property and there is a speaker system you can hook your music up to while hanging by the pool. You could not ask for more breathtaking views or better assistance/communication with planning your stay. All around the most perfect vacation I could have asked for.

SIMPLY AMAZING!! we just returned from spending the week leading up to Christmas at Meghan's Hideaway with my wife and 3 teenagers. The compound consists of 3 buildings within a beautifully and exotically landscaped mountain top property, with truly the most beautiful views I've ever seen in my life. It is worth it to stay at this property for the views alone. Upon arrival at the airport, the property manager Michelle met us at the airport for the long and winding drive through the mountains to Meghan's Hideaway. Once there, Michelle gave us an in depth tour and explanation of the property. She also helped with planning our day excursions including boat charter, island hopping suggestions, beach tips and restaurant recommendations. All of the rooms, bathrooms and kitchen are well appointed with high end appliances, bath fixtures, linens and technology. There is a nice size pool at the property as well which we didn't use much since we spend everyday swimming and snorkeling at the beaches. My favorite building is the great house which is the central gathering space and includes the kitchen, family room, dining room and worlds greatest terrace overlooking the Caribbean Sea. We enjoyed barbecuing a couple of nights and eating dinner on the terrace. The property is about 15 - 20 minute drive from anywhere, Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie, but I found the driving on the left side on narrow and steep roads to be very amusing. Meghan's Bay, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, is a short, 5 minute drive away. On a side note, I highly suggest renting a 4x4 jeep since many of the roads are much steeper than we are use to in the states. My family and I rate this property a 10 out of 10. We are already planing a return next year with more family and friends. Thanks Hope!
