Situated at the border of the famous Lassen Volcanic National Park as well as near Mount Shasta and the Trinity Alps our 67 acre offers a great opportunity to relax in the beautiful nature, explore our walking trails, our seasonal creek great for kids to play in the shallow water and the year round Bear Creek perfect for swimming, fishing and enjoying perfect privacy at the water. The waterfalls a natural "cold" hot tub and lots of hiding places in the mids of trees and brushes invite to relax and enjoy the wild nature of Northern California. Lots of wildlife can be spotted. You kids can play with our friendly pets. To get down to the year round bear creek which is in a canyon you need to wear good shoes.

Wonderful host family and rooms. They are continuously upgrading the ranch. Accessing the mini beach at Bear Creek is a small adventure: a 0.2 mi hike through thorny grasses (June) with a steep and rocky climb down at the end with some ropes and strategically cemented rocks. Water shoes advised for once you're at the creek.
Markus and Nicole were such amazing hosts! They greeted us and showed us everything we needed to know. Our kids even got to play with the baby goats. It is a beautiful place! Would definitely love to come back and rent the whole place for a family reunion. For sure will at least be coming back with our immediate family. There is a store near by and the kitchen is perfect for cooking family meals. The deck is beautiful and quiet for sitting and reading. It was just a great place to get away from the city and be with the family! Markus was super responsive if I ever had questions. I would highly recommend his property to anyone I know.
