Take a step back in time while staying at Holcomb's Cabin. Holcomb's cabin stood behind well-known Holcomb's Dairy Bar in Isom,Kentucky and was deconstructed, transported and lovingly rebuilt and restored in beautiful downtown Whitesburg. Many of the materials and items used in the restoration process come from locally owned businesses and homes that carry sentimental value to our area. The front porch has two rockers to take in the view. When entering the cabin it is hard not to notice the large stone fireplace that anchors the living room. We have equipped the fireplace with gas logs for your enjoyment. The living room is cozy with a sofa and two chairs . A smart tv with local cable and wifi are also available. You will also find a dining table that seats 4 and a bar area equipped for both coffee or cocktails. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cooking utilities needed as well as a microwave, refrigerator/freezer and a range. The first floor also has a washer/dryer and a half bath. Off of the kitchen you will find a back deck with a dining table and grill. The view is breathtaking. Up the narrow stairs to the second story is a full bath. The bath has a claw foot tub/shower that is also vintage. The bedroom is unexpectedly large with two queen size beds and a small sitting area. You will also enjoy lots of windows to take in the views.
