TLDR: One of a kind view overlooking the Laguna. That alone makes this place a must for anyone visiting Nicaragua keeping in mind its privacy comes at a cost. The place is actually a 5 room hotel with a restaurant. The rooms were huge and the entire property was really well cared for. Hosts Tony and Kevin were great and always willing to answer questions but chef Nando really stood out with his plates. The only downside was the internet was down for most of our stay, thankfully the hosts we're willing to compensate the inconvenience. Your Nicaraguan phone service will have no problems with reception up high as this retreat is. My family had a wonderful time and can't wait to visit again.

The area around the hotel and hotel itself are absolutely beautiful. The staff were beyond helpful and went out of their way to assist with with everything we needed. It was close enough for us to drive to Masaya the night we stayed without paying the higher prices closer to the city. I wish we could have stayed longer and would return if we are ever in the area again!

This place was absolutely stunning! One of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed in our time travelling around South and Central America. Our host and the staff at the Retreat were lovely and so welcoming. 100% recommend.

This hotel is stunning! The view of the laguna is to die for. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautiful. And the food was soooo good. They have an incredible chef. We highly recommend this place and we hope to stay here again in a future trip!
