A beautiful one bedroom first floor flat situated on Durnford Street in the southern tip of the Stonehouse peninsula. With the historic Royal William Yard only a few minutes walk away, you have a choice of fabulous restaurants to enjoy. Firestone Bay offers spectacular views across to Drakes Island, and is a much loved spot for a morning swim. Whether you are visiting Plymouth for work or for pleasure, this lovingly designed flat has been tailored to create a comfortable and enjoyable stay! The flat is located on the first floor of a large Victorian terraced house. There is beautifully furnished bedroom with a king size bed. A shower room with an electric shower and W/C. The main living area is an open plan kitchen / diner living space equipped with everything you should need. There is space to park your car at the rear of the building. It is accessed via a service lane which can be a tight squeeze for a larger vehicle. If this is the case I can offer parking permits.
A lovely apartment, stylish but comfortable with lots of extra touches. Located just a few minutes walk from Royal William Yard and restaurants. Communication was great before and during the stay making everything so simple from booking to checkin and checkout. Naomi was a perfect host.
Wonderful Airbnb, very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Naomi was very responsive and helpful and extra little touches were very much appreciated!
Durnford Street is a fantastic location and steeped in history. A few minute walk to the historic Royal William Yard where you will find bustling bars and restaurants, a lovely spot to sit in the evening and watch the sun go down. Firestone bay also known as Devils point is also on your doorstep. With incredible views to Drakes Island it is a favourite spot for water lovers enjoying a swim or paddle boarding. Hop on the Cremyll Ferry to explore Mount Edgcumbe. The gardens are beautiful and if you are feeling adventurous the walk to Kingsands and Cawsands is a must. There is also a seasonal ferry from The Royal William Yard to the Barbican where you can explore the cobbled streets, bars and restaurants. It is roughly a half an hour walk to the town centre as well as to The Hoe if you fancy an icecream and a walk along the promenade. A couple of personal favourites if you are a foodie, The Fig Tree which is located on the street just behind is a real treat. It is award winning so you often have to book but it's worth it. The Hutong Cafe is located at the entrance to the Royal William Yard, they do the most delicious fresh bagels and coffee, a perfect way to set you up for the day. The V.O.T is also a new addition having been recently refurbished, it is a traditional, family - owned Craft bar with a modern twist. A lovely place for a drink and a bite to eat.
The flat is located on a bus route should you need it, but there is also so much to see and do on foot! The City centre and Plymouth Hoe is about a half an hour walk. If you need any recommendations I am more than happy to help.
