Stables is magical. Whimsical touches of crystal glassware & the historic rustic kauri beams and a raised platform Q size bed with futon mattress & electric blanket . Expect a warm, deep sleep & you will awaken rejuvenated. Plenty of storage, hot shower & kitchenette facilities make this place a home away from home. Split stable doors open to its own leafy private courtyard Perfect retreat for couples wanting to be close to the Ponsonby Rd action but hidden away. Stables is at the end of a driveway separate from the main house and entirely private- has a tiny leafy courtyard into which the double stable doors open. Folding doors to small bathroom with full shower .Qbed is raised with lots of storage under. Plenty of drawer storage and fully equipped as independent space.

Cozy studio, felt like a cocoon. Great location and peaceful, walking distance to yoga, supermarkets and cafes. Helen is a lovely host, quick on replying to messages. I would definitely stay there again !

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Helens tiny home, it was that perfect balance of being tucked away enough to feel private and peaceful but also so close to the city, amazing shops, and restaurants! Helen was super easy to communicate with and very hospitable. Will definitely be returning if we visit Auckland again!
Great accommodation for one or two people in a beautiful central Auckland location - perfect place for my mum to stay & be close to all her family while visiting NZ. The stables is super cute - recommend for anyone looking for studio style accommodation near to the city, parks and good cafes & restaurants.
