Great hosts who were very friendly and attentive - perfect balance of attention and privacy. Fantastic accommodation with superior facilities. The view from my room was awesome with the Himalayas as a backdrop. Amazing home cooked food experience offering a flexible option to eat at home or not. Helped me to make the most of my time by giving expert advice on local activities to explore as well as organising transporation. Very close to the Norbulingka Institute that preserves Tibetan culture - literally culture on your doorstep. Make sure to ask about the hand-woven shawls available to purchase. They are absolutely beautiful. Will be back soon.

I booked the homestay after doing a detailed research, and reading multiple reviews left by the previous guests. I am glad that I chose the property. The communication right from the time I booked till the time we checked out from was timely and detailed. Both Mr. Jassi and his wife Mrs. Gurpreet apart from being excellent hosts, they were great conversationalists. They made sure that we felt like it's a home away from home. They helped us with suggestions with regards to places to visit, restaurants to dine at etc etc. The food prepared by them, for dinner as well as breakfast was scrumptious. The quality of furnishings, the decor, the amenities in the room were meticulously planned and executed. The patio/ lounge area outside the room and the overall property including the rooms was welcoming. Our entire stay, albeit a short one was memorable. Need I say more? If you are looking forward to visit and stay at this property, I would wholeheartedly recommend it. Looking forward to many more visits to this property.

With deepest gratitude to the host for making our stay comfortable with abundant hospitality.Amidst these trying circumstances we were really hoping for an empowering and refreshing stay.It was an excellent holiday felt that we were at home.It was an entirely different experience moving from one hill station to another in our own beautiful state.Eagerly waiting for an outstanding visit to the same place with warm hearted hosts. Spent 5 days at this place post Covid lockdown. From on on-boarding to checkout it was a seamless experience. A 20 minute ride from McLeod Ganj market set in a peaceful area with river accessible with a KM. Jassi Ji goes out of his way to help the guests ensuring a comfortable stay. A special call out to Gurpreet ji for the loving care and special food efforts she made for us. Best place if you wish to spend some quality time in the mountains.

Finding Gurpreet and Jasi made me feel like my internal navigation system is working to find me the best experiences! I’ve had a wonderful time here , and I really don’t know which order to mention the perks. I’ll give it a go . The warmth and the philosophy from which they exercise their life and therefore their hosting was quite touching to witness. I felt so comfortable , they kept bringing out my better side and encouraging my adventurous side to guide my travel! The food was next level amazing ! I’m almost convinced that these two not only read minds but they read stomachs too. One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had and right here in their home in Dharamshala ! Very special. There was enough privacy and down time but also a willingness to socialise, share and learn from each other. I felt very connected and safe to the new town here through their informative guidance and they helped me to get my feet on the ground for my next task here in Dharamshala. So very helpful! The location is in a beautiful mountain village away from the hustle and bustle but with eateries and a big supermarket within walking distance. A taxi fair into mcleadganj can be arranged and is affordable . I had some of the best sleeps here and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the culture of this region through two locals who are just as interested in others as they are about sharing. Highly recommend this magical pit stop to the curious traveler, the seeker, anyone needing to feel safe in a foreign land ,,or anyone really, they’ll welcome anyone as friends. My best tip is ... know that it’s easier just to be yourself arrive like it’s a home away from home and enjoy! I’ll be back!
