Your big, sunny apartment in Shelburne Falls is in the third and top floor of the historic 1893 red brick Vice building. On the ground floor of the building is the beloved Mocha Maya coffee shop. Steps away from your apartment are all the jewels that Shelburne Falls has to offer, including the Bridge of Flowers, glacial potholes, and many wonderful places for dining, drinking, shopping, relaxing, and wandering. It's 15 minutes from Berkshire East ski resort. For people with mobility challenges, please note that this is a walkup with 3 flights of stairs. Once inside your apartment, you will find an open, airy space, lined with windows, that was lovingly renovated top to bottom in 2023. Open your giant windows, and the soothing rush of the waterfall provides an idyllic soundtrack to go with your views of mountains, trees, and the flowing Deerfield River. The apartment is beautifully equipped with all you might need for cooking, hanging out, living, and working. High-end chef's gear and brand-new stainless-steel appliances will make any cooking aficionado happy. The apartment is easy for couples or groups to spend weeks in, with everyone able to have some space to themselves. The living room and open-plan kitchen are both very spacious, but the bedroom is on the smaller side. The firm queen mattress makes for a cozy, calming space for a perfect night's sleep. The newly renovated bathroom is tiled and painted in cheery colors. There are two spacious closets, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and all the other amenities you'd expect from a luxury getaway!

Enjoyed my stay very much. A beautiful location and a beautiful home.
It was a great apartment. The place was really clean, seemed to be recently updated, and the kitchen had lots of equipment/items. Easily one of the nicest places we have rented.
Host very generously provided a complimentary bottle of wine, with crackers and all. The kitchens was clean and there was coffee to brew. The bathroom is newly finished and very nicely detailed. The living room was a tad bare. The couch folded out into a bed, the one half of which was inclined to move a bit.

You're staying in the very heart of downtown Shelburne Falls, in the middle of Bridge Street - the main shopping, dining, drinking, and café street of the town. You can reach just about everything in town (including the Bridge of Flowers) in less than five minutes by foot.
Free two-hour street parking during weekday hours and until 2:00 on Saturdays (unlimited during evenings, Saturdays after 2:00, and Sundays). Free public lot just steps from the building. It's an easy 15-minute drive to the Berkshire East ski resort.

My husband Barry and I both grew up in the Boston area, lived in New York City for ten years, and settled in Northampton where we raised our two grown children. Barry owns a "new age" shop in downtown Northampton, and I am director of a local non-profit. We have traveled extensively, both in the US and abroad. Wendy, co-host for our Amherst apartments, is a mom and grandma and also works for a local non-profit. She and her boyfriend greatly enjoy traveling. Sonny, co-host for the apartments in Shelburne Falls, is a local mom, bookkeeper, and professional photographer.
