I can’t say enough about our experience with this airbnb. First off William was wonderful to communicate with. The home is nestled in the most perfect spot for watching the wildlife on the water. We saw so many seals each day. The binoculars at the home were a great thing to have as it made watching the seals and birds so much fun. The outdoor space was peaceful and perfect for our morning coffee. We saw an eagle each morning as well. The sunsets were beautiful! We were close to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The indoor space was cozy yet spacious. They had all the tools you need for eating lobster along with a great recommendation of the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound. They had nice linens on the bed, plenty of towels including beach towels. Plenty of dish ware and silverware. There is a record player with an assortment of albums for any taste in music. This place was just what we needed for a Maine getaway. We highly recommend this rental and would love to go back in the future!

We had a wonderful time relaxing on the bay! Kayaking on the calm water was so peaceful and serene. We really enjoyed out stay in the cottage. Everything we needed for a wonderful week!

William sent a thorough message with check in instructions, nearby grocers, and restaurant suggestions. However when I had a question, I received no response via AirBnB message or text. The view here was stunning! We enjoyed a short walk on the beach each morning. The cottage was clean and well stocked with amenities. The record player and album collection were a nice touch. The bedding was luxurious but the mattress was a bit firm for our liking. The propane heater heated quickly but the heat didn’t filter very well into the bedroom or bathroom.

This is a beautiful place for relaxing and embedding yourself in the nature this part of Maine has to offer. The access to the water is unmatched, and falling asleep to the waves every night was amazing. Mt Desert Island was a short drive away, perfect for day trips to any part of the island. Bill was extremely responsive and kind, and made sure we had what we needed (and even made sure to flag an incoming storm so we could time our departure!). We would absolutely stay here again.

Bill's place was exactly as described. Private, with beautiful water views, and a nice beach area. Excellent floor plan/layout didn't feel cramped at all. Very clean and neat. Perfect location in regard to Mount Desert Island/ Acadia, close enough, but private, with no crowds. We really enjoyed his album collection too! Would defiantly come back.
