This is a great place if you are looking for a quiet time, away from the city life. The place itself is located near lake, with beautiful surroundings. It had a great outside sitting area, the fireplace was amazing and the pool table in the basement is more than enough to justify the price of this listing. And just like the lake house, our host Mark was amazing, friendly and responsive. He even kept goodies in the kitchen area and washrooms. Felt just like home!!

I don’t often write reviews, but felt compelled after our stay. Mark and Traci were exceptional hosts. The home was fully stocked and then some. We had everything we needed and also everything that made it comfortable. We walked in the door (late check-in due to a 8 hour drive with six kids) and were met with a gift basket of snacks for our kids and a sweet surprise for us, along with a handwritten note. It made us feel welcome and right at home. Their communication was nearly instant and so kind. We were in town for my father-in-laws funeral and when I booked, I guessed on the dates. Once arrangements were finalized, I thoughtlessly forgot that I hadn’t booked enough days. I requested to stay longer at the very last minute and they answered me almost immediately. They showed grace for my mistake and reassured me that if we needed anything, let them know. All this is in addition to a beautiful and CLEAN home. The back porch and the fire pit were also a big hit. 11/10 recommend.

My sister and I took our 5 middle school aged kids to relax for a few days us and get away. We had a great time. And the house was exactly as described.
