The hot shower and soft bed were perfect after long hikes in and around Mammoth Cave. We brought our dog who had plenty of space to play in the fenced in backyard too. Lori is a great host!

What a wonderful escape! We spent the kiddo’s spring break in Kentucky for the caves but found so much more at Lori’s adorable cottage. The space is cozy and thoughtfully decorated, making you feel immediately at home. The little touches really set Lori apart, like milk and juice in the fridge, cinnamon rolls and even a bottle of wine on the table waiting for us when we arrived. Everything is made to make you feel comfortable and welcome. We even played some board games the first night while a storm blew through. Our pup loved the fenced in yard. I haven’t seen him run flat out since I booked a play date at a doggy playground. In the morning we woke to birds chirping and the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. Everything was so picturesque! We made s’mores by fire and the kiddo had a great time “camping.” Thank you for such a beautiful stay, it was just what we needed to get out of the city and show the kiddo how beautiful nature can be.

Wonderful place to stay. The pups loved the backyard and it was close to hiking. Being able to unplug and be comfortable was perfect. Loved the record collection also. When we arrived we were greeted with personalized items that we have never received from other Airbnb locations.

Lori’s place was even better than we expected, which is hard to accomplish, because we already thought it looked adorable from the photos. Lori had bagels, cream cheese, orange juice, milk, and wine waiting for us at check in, which was such a special touch that you wouldn’t get most places. The bed in the larger room is the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on, with the softest sheets! Everything was clean and so homey, you really can tell she takes pride in the place. Our dogs loved the place too, and the fenced in backyard to run and play. They even had their own dog bowls waiting for them upon their arrival! We would stay over and over again, and are already planning our next trip!
