Diane's place was amazing, it's in a very beautiful location and the house itself is also a work of art. And she was the nicest host ever, we even had the glass of a picture frame break due to dropping from the wind because we kept the window open and she wasn't upset at all and all she was concerned about is that we're okay. She will give you as much space as you want or as much attention as you want depending on how to engage with her, I'll say it again she's a VERY nice person who I assume just wants to share her house with guests so more people can enjoy it.

We stayed a couple of nights because we attended a wedding in Belle River. First off, the space was perfect for us. We appreciated how much our privacy was respected (we didn’t even feel like it was part of a house - the space is above the garage so there aren’t any walls that are shared). We came and went as we pleased which was critical for us with the wedding responsibilities. Also couldn’t believe how well stocked everything was in terms of towels, etc. and the pastries were such a nice bonus! We had issues reaching Diane at first because Airbnb had issues with their messaging, but Diane was proactive and made sure to call when she realized there was a communication problem. The space was also incredibly clean and we had no problem feeling right at home. If it was a little warmer we would’ve checked out the setup by the lake which looked very cozy. We had a great time and would stay again!

Diane is beyond a wonderful host. She was extremely respectful of privacy and, truthfully, a one of a kind human being. I would recommend this stay to anyone.

Overall the place is gorgeous. there's no question of that. You're right on the lake and the listing itself is beautiful. couple things that stood out for us was that the bed is the out of the box type bed like a Casper. For our taste it was a bit hard but this is a personal choice. The biggest issue for us was that it was shockingly noisy. All through the night you could hear trains. We got woken several times by them. Again, this might just be us being light sleepers but it was an issue for us.
