An unforgettable stay! Casa Monella is a very special well appointed apartment with everything you need to be comfortable while traveling. Most importantly Mara is a magnificent host. She will help you coordinate your travels and offer very helpful suggestions. Airbnb is lucky to have hosts like Mara. Far above and beyond a “super host”!!! You will not be disappointed with a stay at Casa Monella.

Mara’s place is fantastic, it’s just as pretty as the pictures! It was very nice to have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, even though one of our travelers was not able to make the trip. The property has great views of the Gulf of poets! Just note, the property is in a very remote town with not much to do. our first night there, both the only restaurant and pizzeria were closed. The supermarket closes at 7:30 PM. We were fortunate to get the bus into less Spezia every morning, but were unable to get a bus back to the property so we had to pay €30 for a return trip every time. Mara was sweet enough to offer us a ride from the train station both when we arrived, and when we departed, which was very very sweet! The town itself is very cute and picturesque, just not a lot to do and again in a remote location. Grazie!

Mara's place is marvellous. It is located in a quiet typical Italian village, with a bar, a pizzeria, a bakery and a small shop within 2 minutes walk. Pitelli also has free and easy parking, rare in the area. If you want a quiet place, this is where to go, if you want more nightlife, the other side of the bay would be better. The kitchen and terrace were very homely and quickly became our favourite place in the house. In the village, the little shop has essentials, there is a big supermarket in La Spezia, a 15 minute drive away. The villa has all the essentials. One thing to know: the church bell starts ringing at 7 am, which may not be for everyone. And I saved the best for last: Mara, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful, she gave us tips about where to go, how to avoid expensive parking, where to shop, etc etc etc.. Nothing seemed to be too much, she even asked us how things were going throughout our week. We are already thinking of going back.

La casa es preciosa, está llena de detalles increíbles. Todo impecable, sin duda recomendamos quedarse aquí. Mara es súper amable, cálida, siempre al pendiente y con una actitud maravillosa.
