I would absolutely not recommend staying here for the price until several changes are made. 1) Faulty construction: when it rained, the roof leaked significantly, making the stairs to the deck treacherous and soaking the couch and rug, so we were unable to use the rooftop lounge area as much as we'd hoped, despite a crew coming to cover the leak with a tarp (which blew away, making the roof leak again the next time it rained); there were also many concerning construction issues with the rooftop area where the wood and walls were coming apart; 2) Malfunctions: the wooden tub would not drain because the wood swells with the bathwater, making the metal drain plug completely stuck closed; 3) Cleaning staff: arrived early in the morning the day of checkout, walking all over the house collecting linens, trash, and cleaning up while we tried to enjoy our last morning prior to checkout; 4) Noise: loud dogs barking all night made it hard to sleep; 5) Typical instructions were lacking.

The house and location were simply extraordinary. We were met at the house by Rene and let in and given an amazing tour and incredible recommendations for the neighborhood. The roof top for morning coffee and evening cocktails was stunning. Bedrooms were all beautiful and comfortable. The art collection and library were extensive and wonderful. Daily housekeeping was an added delight and treat. We didn't want to leave and can't wait to be back. Thank you so much, Mr W.

We were particularly excited about staying in this home because of Estudio Estudio's beautifully executed approach to restoration and sustainable design. The kitchen, dining room, living room, and library are on the first floor, bedrooms are on the second, and a gorgeous sunroom opens up to a terracotta-tiled terrace on the home's third floor. My partner and I stayed for a week with the intention of fully immersing ourselves in the neighborhood. We felt that the home was warm and, for the most part, well-appointed. The house is a short walk from Mexico City's many beautiful parks. It is also within walking distance of an organic food market, a Walmart, Tianguis, and a liquor store. The house is on a quiet residential block with neighbors who know one another. Additionally, security guards watch specific homes that pay for the service. Regardless, they're keeping a watchful eye. Alejandra and Adrianna care for the house—they're kind and wonderful! Take care of them!

From the moment you step through the front door, you find yourself in a spacious, peaceful and beautifully furnished home. Every bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, clean and with modern design. The many common areas created a relaxed atmosphere for everyone to come together, the kitchen was fully equipped. The neighborhood has endless charm and easy access to all points of interest. We received very good recommendations and great hospitality from our host. Given the chance we would stay here again.

Stunning house - even better than the photos. Street is quiet and has 24 hour security. Daily housekeeping was a treat. Supermarket close by and many notable restaurants within a 20 minute walk. Be prepared to Uber to the city center and beyond.
