We are multiple repeat visitors and this is our favorite Airbnb! It's beautiful, clean, well-stocked, and Heather is an excellent and responsive host. We are always so comfortable there. Highly recommended!

My cousin and I had a reunion weekend and Heather's place was the perfect setting. We spent most of our time in the living room catching up, relaxing, and watching shows. We enjoyed discovering art the entire time we were there. All the way up to the last time I let my dogs out in the yard and realized even the rocks had eyes and were actually a family of owls! The bedrooms were nice sized, mattresses were both memory foam, and reading lamps had outlets for phone charger. The bathroom was very clean and cheerful and the medicine cabinet had tons of amenities like aspirin, q-tips, even an extra toothbrush. The basement has an extra shower and toilet, as well.

We had a great stay. The home is very clean, well stocked and a great location. There are restaurants, two grocery stores and a Dairy Queen in walking distance. Highly recommend staying here

We think very highly of this lovely unusual little property. It's well-appointed, comfortable, stylish, fun and super clean. Heather is great to communicate with: available and helpful. It's convenient to lots of things we like to do in Des Moines while being located in a quiet neighborhood with nice off-street parking. We are return visitors – and hope to keep it that way! This home was above and beyond my expectations! In all the reviews you will read about the art because it was amazing to observe and experience! We laughed, we gasped, we were inspired! The rooms we colorful, bright, but also soothing. The plants were so healthy and brought us so much joy! The colors continued into the basement where we enjoyed the pool table and my pup was able to run around and enjoy the space. The street was not busy and it's a quiet neighborhood but there is shopping and restaurants a block away! How perfect!? Great backyard, too. The only thing negative I could possibly say is the mattresses were a little firm for us. I ended up sleeping on the couch the second night and it was very comfortable. Some of the art was erotic and I had 13 year old girls with me. They did not see it bc it wasn't super obvious until you looked closely. Lastly while I absolutely loved the decor I would be a little nervous if I had toddlers with me. That's it! Beautiful experience!
