A fine place to stay in the Des Moines area. Host was very responsive and worked quickly to resolve an issue we had.

Had agreed with the host prior to arrival to have a guaranteed late check out for an extra $50 fee. Also had agreed to an early arrival of about one hour prior to posted arrival time. All of this was in writing and paid prior to arrival. Host kept forgetting that we had paid extra fee for late check out and did not send information on how to get into the property. I reached out through message, called, and texted with no response until after I called Air BnB customer service and got them involved, as we had already been waiting for almost 50 minutes to get into the property. Host had forgotten. We ended up cancelling, as didn't feel confident in host since she was unresponsive and not remembering what the reservation agreements were.

Were in town for a couple of concerts at. Val Air. We were able to walk there as well as to the grocery store and the shops at Valley Junction. This was a great location. Felt safe. House was roomy with great yard. Lots of thoughtful touches that made our stay easy, especially the well stocked kitchen. Would gladly return.
