Yuki&Goro were so friendly and patient to help us navigate the confusing transportation schedules between the island, and was so kind to offer to pick us up and drop us off when it was raining even though the house was super close to Iemour port. The house was super comfortable and easy to navigate, we ended up spending most of our time cooking and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere inside :) The location of Yuki & Goro’s place is also super convenient to get around. The islands restaurants have different opening and closing time, and Yuki always was super thoughtful to give us useful information ahead of time so our trip can be smooth! Definitely recommend this place and would come back again if I visit Teshima again.

It’s a place with not only beauty but also great actual living atmosphere that really makes you feel comfortable like home. Also feeling the need to spend more days on the island because of this beautiful house itself.

Yuki and Goro’s place was just wonderful. We have two kids (1 is 3 years and the other, 3 months) and it was perfect for them / us. It is very spacious, in a wonderful location, the perfect base to explore the art islands, walkable to local restaurants, a beach and the port. Their place is sensationally presented and they were extremely thoughtful hosts. They provided us heaps of food to snack on and for breakfast (eggs, bread, butter, fruit, etc.), gave us wonderful local recommendations, ensured that we knew any helpful info about the island, took us to see the sunset on top of the mountain and helped us with our journey to Tokyo. I highly, HIGHLY recommend these hosts and this place.

This accommodation was fantastic in every conceivable way. The house itself is traditional, tasteful, cosy yet spacious - a tranquil treat to stay in. And Yuki and Goro went above and beyond to help us before, throughout and even after our stay. Including booking a restaurant for us for later on in our holiday (because we can’t speak Japanese so couldn’t book it ourselves), taking us to a special spot on top of the mountain to see the Sakura and posting a make up case I forgot at theirs to us after we had left. Oh and Goro even saved some bikes for us to rent from the rental shop before we arrived! And that’s not including the amazing massage and cook they organised for us during our stay - both 11/10 experiences I highly recommend doing. Staying with Goro and Yuki was a complete highlight of our unforgettable trip to Japan and we we are both so grateful.

It was our best airbnb experience ever. We loved our hosts, they felt like old friends who shared thier world with us. They have traveled extensively and ended up in this very special place. We hope to return and spend more time with Goro and Yuki.
