The apartment looks like exactly as on the pics, very bright, very big plus two huge terrace with the ocean view. For us the flat was not clean enough. The street is very steep, impossible to park, even challenging to go up by walk with the bags. We got 1 towel per person for a week and no beach towel. Although there is a wash in machine what you can use.

We had a great stay. The Airbnb is beautiful and we especially enjoyed the rooftop space either for breakfast or a couple of beers at night with the ocean view. Everything is very clean and beautifully furnished. Restaurants and supermarkets are in walkable distance. We didn’t dare to park in front of the apartment because the street is very steep but there are other possibilities to park for free around. We could totally see ourselves staying here again for our next visit. :)

Magnifique logement, fonctionnel, calme, tout confort, avec 2 terrasses très agréables, vue sur mer ! Un supermarché et de nombreux restaurants sont accessibles en quelques minutes à pieds. La rue est raide mais c’est souvent le cas à Madère. Nous trouvions facilement des places de parking gratuites dans les rues voisines. À réserver sans hésiter !

The apartment was as described, here are the pros for us: location, walking distance to restaurants and beaches, the second guest room is separate from the main living area( private area), beautiful terraces ! Cons: the cleaning crew missed some things!, no grill available, limited bath towels and NO beach towels ( coming from the U.S. we didn’t bring any with us) and the steep walking was a bit much! If we were older or handicapped in any way we couldn’t have done it. The last thing is we we’re not advised that someone would be coming every other day to water the plants while we were present.
