Ana is an incredible host! She said her goal was to provide a 5-star experience and she definitely did! The property itself is pristine, peaceful, and amazing! Everything is designed to make you feel right at home. The property is in the perfect location such that it's near Funchal but far enough away that it's quiet and serene. Waking up to the sunrises each morning is such an exquisite experience. We came here for our honeymoon and Ana went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. We didn't feel like guests, we were treated like lifelong friends. Thank you so much, Ana! When staying on the island, Peak a Boo is the place to stay!

I can’t express enough how amazing this Airbnb was. I have stayed in MANY airbnbs… this by far has met the expectations more than any place I have stayed. The house was beautiful, so many amenities, the pool was amazing… and of course Ana was by far the best host we have ever had. She greeted us and even let us check in early. I have nothing but amazing things to say. We will be back for sure to stay with Ana! We are beyond thankful to have had this experience! Also- the sunrises are AMAZING. Everyone better run to book this stay!!!

Peak a Boo is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in. The villa is in a stunning location with views down to coast. Ana has done an amazing job in furnishing and equipping the villa to the highest standard. We loved the heated pool and swam every day. As others have said, the last half a mile to drive to the villa was a bit nerve wracking the first time but we got used to it. You definitely need a car (a smaller one would be helpful on some of Madeira’s narrow, twisty roads!) Ana herself is a lovely, friendly person but not at all intrusive. She was incredible helpful in answering all my questions beforehand and nothing was too much trouble. Both she and the villa definitely deserve their full 5 star ratings. Thank you Ana for a fabulous holiday

house is beautiful! Ana is exceptional host. we had a late flight and A awaited for us, greated like old friends, took her time to show around, offered to help us with booking restaurants which provide a free shuttle back to Peak a Boo. helped us even after we checked out to reserve a wonderful restaurant in Funchal. We wish we could stay longer and enjoy a house. The best stay by far , not only because the house and a view is amazing, but also because of Ann,her personal welcome note, thoughtful and delicious gifts. Ana’s house was simply perfect and she really is the ultimate host. The drive is daunting the first time, but the views then are second to none. It is also possible to order food and groceries to the house using Glovo. The house is beautiful and has gorgeous and spacious bathrooms, great laundry facilities and a well-designed kitchen. The amenities are of a high standard. There were e.g three types of coffee makers (Nespresso, drip and moka) and actually sharp knives. The pool is not just heated, but heated to a comfortable 27 Celsius. And Ana herself is so friendly and thoughtful . Her welcome gift with a personalized note was the best I’ve seen in my 12 years of Airbnb stays.
