This was a clean and comfortable apartment in an non-touristy area of the city. Good access to buses into the old town and the beach area, and a good cycle hire shop close by.
Good: The apartment is large, full of light and v clean. The car park is spacious once you are inside. Really very nice. Bad: TL:DR Our stay was overshadowed by the horrible check in. The “host” (we think a mgt company) refused to meet us at the unit which forced us to drive across town to collect the keys. (Very stressful!!) We’re on a road trip so our exact times are tricky to lock in but after a few messages in the week before our stay we had confirmed we’d arrive after 5pm (check in is at 5pm) and then the exact time the GPS told us on the day (5.36pm) Told it was “impossible” to be met (despite this being on the listing) and we had to collect the keys from another apartment across town where we could not park and had to wait in a dangerous position until the “host” bought down the keys. We’ve used air bnb for years and this was certainly a first. Overall, we recommend the apt but make sure you know exactly what time you will arrive to avoid what happened to us.
