We spent a lovely weekend. The cottage is very comfortable, peaceful and homely. The kitchen is very well equipped and perfect for long breakfasts before heading out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Lovely cottage, accurate photos and description. Had a lovely log burner which was invaluable due to the inclement weather we had there. Easy driving distance to Rye, Camber sands and Hastings. We arranged for an earlier check in due to my friend having ill health and the wet weather. This was agreed to but for the extra sum of £40 for 3 hours. Winchelsea is a small, historic village with lots of character. We had a lovely meal out at the Mermaid Inn in Rye a 600 year old Inn, very characterful and superb food, if a little pricey. We would recommend this cottage for a relaxing weekend away.
Another great stay at Loke Cottage. We find the house and the area lovely and very worth the time and the money!
A super litte cottage- beautifully decorated, well equipped and comfortable. The beds were lovely and the bathroom spotless. The log burner in the sitting room was perfect and came provided with logs, kindling and matches. Comfortable and spacious sitting room and great kitchen - light and again spotless. Everything you needed for a fantastic break. Winchelsea and its surroundings are gorgeous! Highly recommended!
An absolutely delightful cottage, we went there to wind down after a busy festive period, and it was... perfect. Beautifully presented, but warm & cosy at the same time, a real pleasure to stay there. Everything is thought of, from logs for the fire/burner, to throws/blankets if needed (which they weren't). One suggestion for the host (which does not detract in any way from the 5 star review :) ) perhaps a detailed instruction on which cottage it is in the lane/path as we arrived in the dark, and there is another No. 4, just a suggestion. I would highly recommend, delightful, peaceful and private, but with the beautiful town of Rye a few minutes drive away, and the lovely pub/restaurant 1-2 minute walk away. Couldn't ask for more.

We are a friendly bunch, with plenty of local knowledge having grown up in either Camber, or nearby Rye.
