Had a brilliant stay here with friends! Beds were comfy, kitchen was well-equipped, log fire was a dream in the cold evenings, helpful manual left for us... Amanda, our host, was terrific with our check-in and check-out, quick to respond, and very helpful. Highly recommend staying here if you're a large group of friends or family, who simply want to relax in a quaint little village, with the option of some nice nature walks nearby.

A nice place to stay in a great spot to access Bishops Castle and the surrounding Shropshire hills. Ideal for us 5 friends to meet up for the weekend. The house was very welcoming, as was our host, Amanda. We did feel the seating and bathroom facilities wouldn't be enough for a bigger group. Lovely to have the wood-burner and big range cooker. Street parking was limited at times on arrival and access pathway was poorly lit for arriving after dark.Garden not used due to season, but looks great for summer stays.Kitchen was spacious, with plenty of storage space and a good selection of cook-ware to cater for our group.Kitchen appliances were basic but adequate.Bedrooms were well-lit and comfortable with a lovely view of the hills to the East. Very easy access to the town and local pubs amenities. Overall we had a lovely stay. Thank you

We found the whole experience wonderful. The accommodation is perfect. The town is a delight. Amanda could not have been more helpful.

Fantastic stay here last weekend. The house was absolutely perfect for our trip to Bishops Castle with a huge garden. We will definitely be returning. Many thanks Amanda! Max.
