Generally I nice place, not special but worth the money and clean. Sofa is very small, very low and four people cannot sit on it together, making it difficult to get comfortable as a family. One of us had to sit on a dinning-table chair to watch a movie.

Lovely house, clean & uncluttered, very quiet for working. Immensely grateful to Sam for allowing us to extend our stay, he is always helpful and responsive to messages. I would definitely recommend this as a base for staying in the area!

Can recommend this place. It was clean when we arrived, and it was ideal for what we needed. The beds were comfortable, the area was quiet, and the house has been done up quite well. There were one or two issues - we couldn't get the washing machine to work and it is sometimes difficult to park outside the building - but these didn't detract from our stay. The host, Sam, was very responsive and helpful.

We had a great time in Hugglescote. The towncentre is nearby, a park and a nature reserve are nearby, and Birmingham is relatively nearby, where we visited the UK Game Expo. You can go through the fields in the surrounding area hiking/running which is lovely. If you like birds, there is a Tropical Bird Paradise Zoo which is a lot of fun. The house was clean and big enough for the two of us with a table that fits a moderately large boardgame (for two players). Sam is responsive and helpful. Parking is close by, a bit depending on the hour of the day, but loading and unloading of suitcases and groceries can be in front of the house.
