We were lucky to find this place at such short notice. The drive was easy, the surroundings were peaceful and quite beautiful, and the neighborhood really quiet. The house was clean, accommodating, and spacious. I loved the leather couch and the view from the upstairs rooms. We arrived late, but the host gave us a great suggestion about dinner. We spent the evening on the deck and had breakfast with the dining area doors open in the morning, to enjoy the morning sun and birdsong. We took a 2 minute walk to the lake front and enjoyed hanging out for a little bit. There is another lake nearby which we also walked around and took some beautiful pics. This is the perfect place to unwind and get inspired. I wholeheartedly suggest connecting to Leida, the host, and asking her for recommendations for local farms. We drove back in the city with fresh eggs and milk, raw honey and some awesome pastries from local bakeries. Truly a gem!I am already planning my summer getaway.
