A quiet , rural location, with plenty of footpaths for keen walkers. 3 miles from seaside town of St Ives, which can be accessed via the South West Coast Path. Unspoilt moorland.

Within easy reach of the Coast Road where the open topped bus operated a hop on hop off system, and one ticket lasts all day. Local buses to to St Ives and Penzance twice a day (subject to change). Car parking is available in all the nearby towns, however, it can be expensive in busy periods. Most roads in this area are narrow lanes, with granite walls hidden behind vegetation. Care is needed at passing places. A30 is about 12 minutes away.
Nearest railway station is St Erth, and trains go from there to Penzance, Truro, St Ives and 'up country' to a wide range of destinations outside Cornwall.
