Mauricios place is dreamy. There is nothing like being right on the ocean with no obstruction in your view, watching the waves and having the wind blow through your hair. Loved this place, especially the little cat and dog that Lived there. Mauricio and his crew are kind and helpful but also leave you in peace. Nice to have a kitchen to cook. A few places to eat in the area that are lovely. The weekends there is music which ends at 8. Would stay here again. Super clean, comfortable and tranquil. Thank you!

This place was ideal. It was so clean, comfortable, quiet and had the most gorgeous view. I would stay here again and am even looking to rebook for my next trip now to ensure availability.

This place was an absolute slice of heaven! Perfectly situated on the beach, with a surf break out front, also only a short distance to other surf breaks! Lots of places to lounge out and chill on the property with oceans views, kitchen was super clean and lots of appliances, great for cooking up a meal with friends and family! Fell asleep listening to the waves! Mauricio was super friendly, as well as everyone that worked on the property! I will be coming back forsure!

This place is a gem. The view, the vibe, the location, all conspire to provide a serene experience. Get with host on the WiFi details bc there are a few networks you’ll need. Do not eat at the sushi restaurant. It’s horrible and all the dishes are essentially the same - very little fish and the worst food poisoning you could imagine. Surfing at La fortuna is mediocre, short waves but nine palms is dope and a long wave. This place is great and I’ll be back.
