The stay was ok. The host was very responsive when there were issues with the no heat the very first night. Heat was fixed the next day. There is normal wear and tear throughout the home and would probably benefit to a few updates. Great location to Downtown Raleigh. Host was flexible with the checkout time.

This is a great house, close to Raleigh, and felt very safe and secure. We didn’t need to do much other than just sleep there, as we were in town for 1 day dance competition. Only issue we had was with the linens for the bunk bed and the comforter in the main bedroom. I ended up needing to wash the sheets before letting my kids sleep on them, but thankfully there was a great washer and dryer, so I could do it. I did let Matt know as I was addressing things and shared pictures so that he was aware and could address issues with the cleaning service if they use one.

The house definitely needs some TLC. Two of the bedroom doors are almost impossible to open and close (the doors seemed to be swollen and damaged). The bathroom showers and floors were not clean. No smoke alarms anywhere in the house. The house did have internet and desks in the bedrooms, but the internet signal did not reach the bedrooms. Lots of Airbnb options in the area, wish we would have picked elsewhere.
