The flat is situated in the Dartmouth Park conservation area, a leafy neighbourhood characterised by well-kept period buildings. Hampstead Heath is just 10 minutes walk away and Hampstead Village can be reached on foot in about 45 minutes. Highgate by way of the famous Highgate Cemetery (final resting place of Karl Marx among others) is about a 25-minute walk.
Local amenities include some of North London's best gastro pubs, including the Bull & Last, and a number of cafes serving quality coffee, pastries and lunch.
Artisan butchers, fishmongers and bakeries, as well as several high-quality delis mean eating in is also a well catered for.
A couple of stops south on the Northern Line is Camden, including the market and associated attractions. Two stops further south (or walk along the canal) is King's Cross, including Coal Drops Yard, Granary Square and a host of restaurants, including the famous Dishoom (if you can get a table).

Tufnell Park tube (a 3-minute walk) is on the High Barnett branch of the Northern Line. Highgate is two stops to the north, Camden two stops to the south. Leicester Square and the West End is less than half an hour away on the Northern Line, or change at Euston to get the Victoria Line for Oxford Circus in about the same time.
London Overground is also nearby courtesy of Gospel Oak, which can take you to Richmond, Clapham Junction or the hipster delights of Dalston and Hackney.
A number of buses also run through Tufnell Park.
Hampstead Heath is 10 minutes walk away, Camden can be reached in about 20 minutes on foot and King's Cross is about a 45-minute walk.
