帕迪尤卡 · 整套民居 · 2室3床1.0卫 · 可住3人 · Wisdom's Lovely Lady
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located and elegant place. The house was built by Henry Benjamin Wisdom in 1868. Mr. Wisdom became Paducah’s first millionaire at about the time the house was constructed. The house is on the national register of historic places, and is the last house on Paducah’s lower town historic homes tour. A large high ceiling living room with lots of places to sit. A formal dining room which seats 8. A large kitchen with a breakfast table and four chairs. Utility room with washer and dryer. The entertainment room has two steps down, so please be careful. 2 chairs in the entertainment room with a new 60” TV. A large bedroom with a gas log fireplace and access to the private fenced in backyard. The bed is a queen. The second bedroom is upstairs and to the right. It has a full size bed. The bathroom is adjacent to the entertainment room, and it has a walk-in shower with 4 shower heads.
Kevin's place is just as the photos show, beautiful. Although it's on a fairly busy street, it was very quiet and peaceful in the house. I was lucky enough to meet Kevin and he is kind and thoughtful. I hope he will let us stay in his beautiful place again!
Kevin was very friendly & helpful. The house was kindly stocked. Kevin was very accommodating when my trip was extended last minute. Highly recommend:)
Wonderful stay! Place is gorgeous inside. I love the history behind the home and all the “neat” touches. It had such character. The outside could use some upkeep but wasn’t bad. I would definitely stay here again. Great price for a great home!
I was visiting Paducah for quilt week and this is the perfect location to be close to the convention center, quiltney Museum, coffee shops, and a lot of delicious food.
The property is adjacent to a brick apartment building and an auto storage lot.
Across the street, are two elegant historic homes which are also on the Paducah historic architectural tour. The river and quilt museum is about a 15 minute walk from the house. This house is considered to be the last house in the lower town neighborhood.
It is easy enough to walk to historic downtown for dining and shopping. it is probably a 15 minute walk. If the guests are not up for that, it is a very short drive to get you there. Jefferson is a one way street, so the guests will need to drive west a block and turn left to find Broadway and head downtown.
