Wellesley Island · 整套民居 · 2室3床2.0卫 · 可住4人 · Lake of the Isles Waterfront Home with Dock
Relax on the beautiful St. Lawrence River, near "Lake of the Isles", with the whole family. This waterfront property is conveniently located in a serene, private wooded setting. With over 320' of waterfront you can relax in numerous outside sitting areas overlooking the water either from the large deck, screened in porch, the "cut out ledge", the fire pit, or down on the 100' dock. Relaxing on the dock provides excellent sun bathing, swimming, fishing, and plenty of space to keep your boat. Our clean, comfortable, and modern home situated on the edge of the Thousand Islands Club Lake Golf Course, is a great location for that family vacation to the 1000 Islands. Take a pleasant walk or short drive to two 18-Hole golf courses, two nearby restaurants, and the historic Boldt Castle and Boldt Yacht House attraction during the summer months.
This is a beautiful house nestled on an island and a stones throw away from Canada. We couldnt believe how close to Canada we were. We chose this location because it was in the path of totality for the Solar Eclipse. It was just perfect for myself, hubby and our 2 adult kids. The location is picturesque with beautiful sunsets. I loved that this was off season as it felt like we were on an island all by ourselves. The house is very nice, spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our short stay there. The owner who has a house next to this property was planning on stopping by to introduce himself but didnt. We were happy that no one popped over as we wanted our privacy. We paid for 3 nights as required but only stayed 2 of our 3 nights (work, college the following day after eclipse) There is also a bonus bedroom in the loft above the bedroom with the 2 twin beds. Thats where our eldest slept, which was nice that the two kids had their own space that included a shared bathroom.
This home is lovely! It was exactly what we wanted, was white glove clean, very comfortable, and exactly as described. We were able to use the docks for our boats and the fishing was amazing! If you plan to go to the St. Lawrence River and need a place to stay, this Airbnb is top notch. The host went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right and we had all that we needed. We would definitely stay here again.! 5 stars!
Everything was perfect !! We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Jacqualine made sure we were informed and had access to everything we needed.
It’s a beautiful! Peaceful and private…you have neighbors but you don’t really notice them from the cottage.
Jacqualine was very responsive right from the time we booked. She reached out explaining things to us and answering questions we had even before we got to ask them. The home and view was absolutely beautiful. Our children were in the water most of the time. Fishing was great kids caught and released several fish. Unfortunately the power went out for several hours on the last day. However it was such a beautiful day we were outside the whole time so it didn’t bother us one bit. Jacqualine reached out to let us know the estimated time power would be restored. We were still able to cook on grill and use the burners on stove since it is propane. The neighbors walked over just before dark asking if we needed anything and brought us flashlights to get us by. It was greatly appreciated! We are looking forward to going back in the future. Highly recommended!
Located on the northeastern end of Wellesley Island and conveniently located for those who love to golf, boat, fish, hike, or just relax with a few friends or family. Two NYS Parks are nearby and a short boat ride can take you to a popular swim area in "Lake of the Isles", to the village of Alexandria Bay, or even across the border to Canada (make sure you have your passports). Popular summertime attractions in Alexandria Bay, Clayton, or Cape Vincent are within a half-hour drive via the Thousand Islands Bridge and along Route 12. Our favorite place, though, is on the waterfront, relaxing and "boat-watching" on the dock!
Getting to-and-from our home on Wellesley Island is simple and stress-free and crossing the Thousand Islands Bridge is so beautiful and scenic! Please keep in mind that there is a fee of $3.25 to cross over to Wellesley Island. (Bridge cards are offered for a discount rate if you plan to cross several times).

My current home is in Alexandria Bay, NY. I grew up in Cape Vincent and love the peaceful quality of life there and in the 1000 Islands region of the St. Lawrence River . My husband, Jim, and I operate a few home-based businesses, giving us the flexibility to pay attention to detail at our properties. We love hosting guests at our homes and enjoy their repeat visits.
