For your ease of mind during this COVID-19 crisis Rob and I have taken every precaution to not only protect ourselves but our guests. Rob and I have always made cleanliness our top priority and you will see that in all of our reviews. You will ALWAYS have FRESHLY clean linens (including bedspreads), towels, bath mats etc.. We have ALWAYS wiped down door handles, light switches, cabinets etc.. We have been doing what the CDC has recommended before this virus ever existed. So when you stay with us you can rest assure we have gone over every surface to ensure you are staying in a sanitized home. These are uncertain times but we want our guest to feel safe in our homes. We understand how important this is. Rob and I have lived in the Highlands for 8 years. We love living here and walking to all the great amenities the Highlands has to offer. We are home re modelers, Rob is also head of maintenance, cleaning, plants and grounds at one of the largest churches in the Archdiocese of Louisville. Another reason cleanliness is and always has been our top priority. I am an accountant at a nearby church and babysit my beautiful 18 month old grand baby on my "off" days. We are parents to 5 children ranging from ages 22 to 33 and have two beautiful grand daughters. Rob and I love spending time with our family. I love to workout and run which is one of the reasons I love the Highlands as it is close to all the parks. Rob and I are dog lovers and we now have three of them. That is it!!!! One of my babies was adopted thru Arrow Fund and one was found at the park tied to a tree. So we are extremely busy taking care of three dogs and babysitting one of my grand-babies two days a week which I have to say is my biggest joy . We are empty nesters to some degree which has allowed us to make this amazinIg Carriage House a great place for others to enjoy. The location of our Carriage House is perfect. It is close (walking distance) to and all the great restaurants, pubs and shopping on Bardstown road as well as Bellarmine College and the Louisville Zoo. However, it is private and quite away from the noise and nightlife that comes with Bardstown rd. It is the best of both worlds. We are 5 minutes from the airport and a short drive to the YUM center, Churchill downs and 4th street live. Our second Airbnb is in St. Matthews/LaGrange area. It is right off Shelbyville Rd across from the St. Matthews mall. This is another amazing location. Close to the highway, great shopping and restaurants. The condo is very large (1,900 square feet). You can't go wrong with any of these beautiful, clean, safe locations. I know you won't be disappointed.
