My wife and I stayed in the Caboose, and it was nothing short of amazing! Eileen is wonderful and she makes some amazing granola. We will def be back with our little guys, and its literally a stones throw from the state park and downtown, but you wouldnt even know it!

What a great place to stay. Very unique. The host is the best. We loved her home made yogurt and farm jams. She prepared breakfast for us with all farm fresh produce. My boys had lots of fun. Would highly recommend it.

Eileen's place was wonderful!! Easily one of my top airbnb experiences ever! Eileen is a wonderful host who made us homemade yogurt, brownies, and cookies! This little train car was a perfect place to rest after spending the day hiking the beautiful waterfall trails in the surrounding state parks. I will miss it.

Staying in a train caboose was a very unique experience for us! We took our 2 kids ages 6 and 8 and they loved exploring both the interior of the train car and the amazingly peaceful and expansive grounds (absolutely amazing multi-level play structure; a small creek with mini bridges; the sun setting through the trees). Regarding the caboose, despite being compact it's been very thoughtfully renovated with reclaimed wood, clever magnetic fittings, a mini but functional kitchen, a shower, and 4 beds! Eileen also added really thoughtful touches like train-related books, engineer caps, even home-made yoghurt! Finally, we especially appreciated how flexible and kind Eileen was accommodating us -- one of our children came down with strep right before the trip and we had to adjust timing (we ended up arriving a day late). Eileen was so kind with offering changes and accommodations -- really excellent and kind communication.

Great little caboose. Well maintained and the hostess is the sweetest. The caboose does get chilly at night so it’s better to be prepared.
