Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Guests enjoy panoramic views, walking trails, farm life, and beautiful night skies. Bird and wildlife watching, photography and enjoying the fire pit are some favorite activities. Other attractions in area include: Big Fish Cidery, Dominion Power Recreational Area, local historic sites, Cass Railroad, Snowshoe Ski Resort (39 miles), Green Bank National Radio Observatory, and Jefferson Pools are located within an hour drive.

Very secluded, extremely peaceful.
Restful stay at the farmhouse - kids got to sled, space was clean and big, and beautiful setting. Loved watching the cows, deer, and beautiful stars!
We had a lovely stay. The area is beautiful, if remote! Monterey has a nice cider place and diner we tried. We enjoyed learning about hiw maole syrup is made and trying some at a sugar camp too. It's a perfect house for a couple families to stay and the kids were thrilled with the foosball and the books and toys.
What a wonderful place to create many family memories. Spacious, comfortable and inviting. Spectacular view in every direction. Plentiful amenities with adequate hot water. Host attentive and accommodating. Definitely would return 😃
Great get away location!!! It is an honest to goodness farm house - somewhat remote, great views, and just enough amenities. We’ll be back.
